Gloucester Trophy 2009

Movie Making clubs from three counties came together for the annual Gloucester Trophy competition, hosted this year by the Evesham Movie Makers club. The popular winning film was entitled "Twinning Farm and Schools" entered by Tewkesbudy YMCA Video Camera Club. Stroud Video Makers' film "The Italian Lakes" received a special prize for its use of sound.

There was an excellent turnout with more than sixty keen movie makers coming to see the movies entered this year. These entries were produced by clubs based in Bristol, Cheltenham, Evesham, Gloucester, Stroud, Tewkesbury, and Worcester. The movies were judged by a panel comprising Chris Warren, Jenny Davis and Russell Hancock. The competition was hosted at the Badsey Village Hall on the 20th March.
